Nothing like watching crappy/crazy people sing for a panel of judges. Yup, it's American Idol season again. I can't say that'll realy be watching it all that much (Steven Tyler's face sort of freaks me out) but I'll probably watch long enough to place a bet on a person. See, my family, including my best friend as well, have this competition to see who's person they pick will make it farthest in American Idol. The last two years in a row I've picked the winners. The funniest thing? I was last to pick last year since I won the year before. My sister says I'm destined to be a talent agent.
Oh, guess what's going on outside right now? It's snowing. Again. This weekend we're supposed to get the biggest snowstorm to hit Missouri in ten years! Guess who isn't going to have school tomorrow? Probably most of the students living down the path of this snowstorm!
This is my random quip of information for the day that I learned while at school. The funny thing is, I didn't learn it from any of my teachers! My best friend, the one entering our family American Idol contest thingy, was reading her research book on Leonardo da Vinci. She leaned back and told me that during the Renassaince people that were left handed were said be possesed by the devil. Then they would be taught to write with their right hand in school. Thank goodness I'm not a lefty! Or...born during the Renaissance.
That's all for today! Thanks for stopping by and reading. I give you cute puppie. And keep an extra sock on hand.
